3 New Wordpress Plugins For Your Wordpress Blog

The HookupIt has been a while back that I have not added new wordpress plugin for blog as really there are too many of them out there.

But yesterday I came across 3 plugins that I find it very useful that I want to share with you so that you can use them on your blog too.

The first plugin that I want to recommend is:

=> Comment Redirect

This plugin was developed by Joost de Valk and what it does is that it allows you to redirect to a new page for those who leave comment on your blog for the first time.

This plugin allows you to encourage reader to leave comment on your blog which increases participation and furthermore you can redirect them to a page where you can give them a gift as a way to thank them for leaving a comment. This is term build trust and value.

The second plugin that I want to recommend is

=> Odiogo

This cool plugin actually allows you to converts your blog into a podcast. This is what I wish to do for the longest time. The reason why I am not doing it prior the Odiogo plugin is that it does take me sometime to read out the article and convert into mp3.

But right now I can write an article and it will converts automatically into an audio file for me. If you scroll to the beginning of this post, you will see a button that allows you to play that audio file and listen to this article.

Here are some of the features of the plugin:

  • Automatic podcast generation
  • “Near-human” quality text-to-speech
  • Listen Button feature deployed in next to no time for WordPress, Blogger, TypePad, BlogEngine.NET and Terapad platforms
  • Detailed download statistics
  • Make money from embedded ads

The last plugin I want to recommend is

=> MaxBlogPress Ninja Affiliate

If you promote any kind of affiliate product on your blog there are a few things you must do in order to maximize the conversions for that promotion:

1. Cloak the link: Many people hate buying through affiliate links, especially if they don’t know you. It’s very important that you cloak the link for credibility and security purposes!

This means creating a new page, usually inside a directory, for each affiliate link and redirecting it to your aff. URL!

2. Track Link Clicks: You need something that is gong to track WHERE each click came from etc. Most affiliate programs will tell you how many raw clicks were generated, but they don’t tell you where they came from! It’s very important that you know where your traffic is coming from!

3. Insert the rel=”nofollow” attribute: If you don’t do this all of the affiliate links on your blog are going to drain your PageRank = BAD news for SEO!

4. Maximize exposure: If you have posts that you wrote a while back about the same topic your affiliate product covers, you want to get your affiliate links in that post as well to truly maximize the earning potential!

If you do all the above, you know that it take time especially if you are technically challenge. That where MaxBlogPress Ninja Affiliate come in into play. This is plugin is not free but it’s WELL worth the price.

You can check more about the plugin by clicking on the link below:
